Welcome to Through a Glass, Darkly’s weekly(ish) update!
First off, I want to give a hearty hello and welcome to my new subscribers, and remind you that, in case you missed it, you can download your free copy of Love Letter, a novella set in my Restless Spirits universe, with my thanks. (It will collect your email, but that’s just for people who come to that page to sign up for this publication, so I won’t do anything with it, seeing as how you’re already subscribed).
I’m short on both time and news this week, but I thought I’d grab this opportunity to tell y’all that…
Desolation is available in Audio!
This is not strictly news, seeing as how it’s been available in audiobook form for a number of years now. But I don’t promote the audiobook nearly as much as I should, because, well, I just forget to. As a consequence, not a lot of people know that it’s on audio. So let me correct that right now.
Narrated by the wonderfully talented Nicole Beattie, the Desolation audiobook is 9.8 hours of listening enjoyment, available to buy here on Amazon and also to listen to on Audible if you have a subscription. If you don’t already have an Audible subscription and would like to try it free for 30 days, you can use this link to make Desolation your free trial listen.
5 Days Left to Read These Stories Free…
On May 1, the following serials are going behind the paywall. Paid subscribers at any level will always have access to them (and if you have used my Ko-Fi link to buy me a coffee, you’ll be getting comped a gratis paid sub equivalent to the amount you tipped), but if you have no plans to upgrade, you’ve still got time to check them out.
(Of course, you could also just buy the books.)
Terror at Lake Eucha
Something lingers in the woods of Lake Eucha... something that refuses to be forgotten.
The Hag: Navigation Page
Terrifying visions haunt a man as he lies paralyzed in his bed, causing him to question everything he knows about the world, his own sanity, and even his wife. A multi-part horror novella.
The Witch in the Cellar - Part One
A young boy and his family move into a house that's the subject of a local urban legend. Is the neighbor boy just making up stories... or is the legend true, and truly dangerous?
In Case You Missed It…
I posted chapters 5 through 8 of Desolation this week. If they got lost in your inbox, you can find all of the chapters posted so far here on the navigation page.
Also, for everyone who enjoyed my previous recommendations for
’s Judith Temple mystery series, she’s recently launched her third installment, Murmurs in the Walls, in which Judith, following the traumatic events of her last adventure, takes a break from helping law enforcement and tries her psychic abilities on something seemingly safer — paranormal investigation. Read it here:Bridget also just released the first book in the series, Down in the Holler, in e-book and paperback. Here’s where you can get them.
That’s all for this week. Four more chapters of Desolation will be coming your way next week, so stay tuned!
Thank you so much for including DITH and Murmurs!! ❤️
