Weekly Update: New Website! And a Change to the Posting Schedule

Welcome to Through a Glass, Darkly’s weekly(ish) update!

Through a Glass, Darkly is the fiction publication of horror and supernatural thriller author Jean Marie Bauhaus (that’s me!), where I’m publishing my new fiction for you to read free for a limited time before it makes it into book form (paid subscribers can access all the fiction I post here all the time and read at their leisure). Hello, folks! I was remiss in not sending out an update last week. The truth is I simply forgot because I was hyperfocused on redoing my website, but I didn’t really have any news to share anyway.

Oh, but this week is different. Let me show you my new website!

Well, I’m excited about it, anyway. It was LOOOONG overdue for an overhaul. Eventually, like sometimes in the next couple of months, I plan to add my individual ebooks to the site so you can buy them directly from me. I’d like to be able to sell paperbacks directly, too, but that’s a “someday” goal.

I also want to give you a heads up that there might not be a new episode of Daughters of Men next week, or if there is, it may be late. I’m all caught up on pre-written episodes, and now I’m writing in real time, so there may be some lags and jags in the posting schedule to which you’ve become accustomed.

I’m about halfway through Episode 6, but it’s been a busy week. I was also accosted and held up by a flash fiction idea on my way to feed the chickens the other day, and I came home and immediately hammered out the first half of that story. I’ll likely finish that before I finish Episode 6, which will mean a Short Story Wednesday coming your way next week, at the very least. I think it’s gonna be a good one.

At any rate, Episodes 6 and 7 are a turning point in Mae’s story, so I want to take my time and be sure I do them right. Thank you for your patience.
