Howdy, folks!
I’m so sorry that much of this week’s update looks like a repeat. But other than having made slight progress on a short story, I don’t have any new writing or publishing news for you this week.
What I do have is a vague non-announcement that my husband and I are embarking on a major new endeavor, although it’s still tentative and much too early and ephemeral to talk about publicly. But it could be completely life changing for us if it works out, and it’s been eating up most of my time and energy and brain space for the last couple of weeks (which is why I forgot to send out an update last week). Hopefully, we’ll soon be on more solid ground regarding this thing and I’ll be more comfortable telling you exactly what we’re trying to do.
Speaking of my husband, he tells me he’s fairly confident that he’ll be ready to release his latest EDM track in time for next week’s Tuesday Tunes. Here’s hoping!
One thing I can announce is my latest Substack endeavor — Self-Publishing for the Broke Author. I’m updating a new edition of my book by the same name and publishing the revised chapters there as I go, as well as doling out extra tips on producing and marketing indie books without going broke.
